Question: Is this a good diet? please help!?

I want to desperately lose 30 lbs by the end of April, but I've never been on a diet and I don't know what my daily routine should be like. Right now, it's like this: 1.Wake up/ shower 2.Do my bed/ clean the house a bit 3.Breakfast: a glass of milk, a banana, and half a cup of granola 4. go to school 5. exercise at the gym for 1 hour 6. dinner at home: breaded chicken fried with a little bit of olive oil, salad, and a little cheese on top 7. dessert: yogurt or banana or something healthy 8. do homework/ chat online with friends I feel I'm not exercising enough or eating too much or too little =\ help? <3 I don't deep fry chicken. I just fry it with one table spoon of olive oil. is that bad? =\ I'm 20 years old :) and i don't get to eat lunch on mondays and tuesdays because i'm in college and my classes are three hours long AND during lunch time =\ |

You are taking breakfast. that is good thing. But banana is high carbohydrate food. It will increase ur weight if you take daily. Heavy breakfast, Medium lunch & light dinner is always prefered. 1hour excercise is enough for your diet. |

30 lbs in a month and a half is kinda unrealistic...you should definitely be able to lose weight, but eat lunch (3 meals a day). one hour of exercise each day sounds about right |

Your diet is good, but anything is should insist, only a plane is not enough, Hope you lose your weight. er maybe "breaded chicken fried " can be delete, fried food is full of fat |

Well, not only is the diet important, but also the exercising part. You want to get your heart rate up in the 120s-140s. But it's not good to suddenly start exercising. You have to gradually build up how much you exercise in order to prevent hurting yourself and over exhausting your body. In addition, try to have a balanced meal. You also need some carbohydrates for energy and if you're still in your teenage years, you need it for growing. In fact, it isn't good to diet in your teenage years unless you are obese or something. |
