Is this a joke? Jelly contains very easy to break up sugars so If you only eat 3 meals a day and get hungry between each one, all of that will be turning into fat. |

Not a good idea. Dieting is not a good idea. Adding fruit, vegetables, proteins and vitamins to your diet and cutting out alot of junk & fatty foods is the only thing to make you lose weight: Along with exercise, of course. |

I would say a bad idea and one that is not only not going to allow you to lose weight but may very well develop new problems due to the sugar intake. |

No you aren't going to lose weight eating jelly for lunch. Your body needs certain nutrients, and it needs to maintain a steady blood sugar to keep your metabolism fired up. If all you eat is jelly for lunch you are basically starving yourself for 8-10 hours a day, which will slow down your weight loss instead of speed it up. Try having a salad for lunch instead, with a low cal dressing like Italian or a vinagrette. Add grilled chicken or a small amount of cheese too so you get protein and feel fuller. Good luck! |

Afraid not. you need to have a balanced diet with good nutrients to fuel your body. you may loose a little but you will feel like crap. I eat 5 meals a day on average between 350-450 calories per meal following a 50% carbs, 30% protein, 20% fat ratio. Translates into 3-4 oz of protein, 1-2 cup of veg, 1/ 2 cup of carbs (brown rice or pasta) the key to good nutritional and health is a good balance of food including fruits and vegetables. |

That is a terrible idea. where are all the good nutrients you need to survive? |

I'm one of those people that has been overweight most of my life. I tried a lot of different shortcuts that never seemed to work. A friend I hadn't seen in about a year stopped by my house and I was amazed. She had lost about 40 lbs and she looked great. I asked her what she did and she gave me all the details. Two months later I've lost over 30 lbs and feel wonderful. My friend Ruth has put together some information on her plan at tips.myshort.info. |
