Question: Middle school track starts in about 2 weeks and i'm pathetically out of shape... diet and exercise routine?

I'm embarrassed, but I haven't had an exercise routine since last June. I don't have phys ed this year. I really need to get on a good diet and exercise program so I can get back to my fast running and short mile time. I have about two weeks. Help?!?!?! (Details: I'm a 14 year old girl and I'm 5'5 " and I'm not sure what I weigh (don't want to know!)

Well, the best thing for you would probably just be running. but squats, leg lifts, calf exercises, and things like that would really help too. Oh and if you swim, that will help more than all of those. Or if you run 1-4 miles a day that should be enough Swimming and Running
