I have done my own research, and people who are saying the acai berry is a "miracle fruit " base their belief on opinions. The acai berry is about as beneficial as any other fruit. To answer your question about diet foods, I was hospitalized earlier this year when I was 16;I was bulimic. Because of this, the hospital gave me a nutritionist while I was in there. She completely changed the way I thought about food. Basically, that thing they teach you in elementary school with the food pyramid; thats what your supposed to follow. When my nutritionist told me I was going to have to eat bread and carbs I went ballistic. I was forced to do it though,and I ended up losing more weight then I did when I was bulimic. I was cooped in the hospital all day long not getting any exercise,and I was losing weight. So my advice is to go look at the food pyramid and see what the majority of nutritionists recommend. Portion size is important too, so make sure you read about that as well. The last thing is that you should remember that 90% of what people say about losing weight is opinion. Everybody has a miracle diet. Im suggesting the old fashion way. Good luck! |
